Embarking on enriching MBA trips during my second year at Fuqua taught me valuable lessons in leadership, organization, and personal growth. I organized two memorable journeys: one to Utah’s Mighty Five National Parks and another to Puerto Rico.
Fall Break Destination: Utah’s Mighty 5 As the lead organizer, I coordinated a diverse group, honing my skills in logistics, budgeting, and scheduling. Highlights included:
- Day 1: A welcome BBQ and sunset walk.
- Day 2: Exploring Arches National Park, overcoming a challenging trail.
- Day 3: Discovering Canyonlands National Park, karaoke, and BBQ.
- Day 4: Visiting Capitol Reef National Park.
- Day 5: Enjoying Bryce Canyon and a glamping experience.
- Day 6: Hiking in Zion National Park, adapting to trail closures. This trek was a journey of growth and unforgettable experiences.
Spring Break Destination: Puerto Rico Excited to organize the Puerto Rico trip, I showcased my leadership and organizational skills with diverse activities:
- Day 1: Luquillo Beach, authentic street food, and cultural exchange.
- Day 2: Exploring Old San Juan, historic sites, and vibrant nightlife.
- Day 3: A luxury yacht party, snorkeling, and a dinner at an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant.
- Day 5: Visiting El Yunque National Forest, swimming, and beach relaxation. This trip was a transformative experience, creating inclusive and unforgettable memories.
These MBA treks were more than vacations; they were opportunities for growth, learning, and adventure.
