Organized by the Japan Special Interest Group (Japan SIG), Japan Night at Cambridge MBA on November 24, 2023, was a resounding success. Featuring activities like sake tasting, calligraphy, and sushi making, the event attracted around 50 MBA and MFin students, fostering cultural exchange.
Participants from the USA enjoyed hands-on experiences, finding making sushi and takoyaki personal and interesting. Indonesian feedback praised the engaging calligraphy and delicious temaki-sushi. Singapore participants appreciated the variety of activities, with miso soup and sushi standing out. Taipei participants labeled Japan Night a fascinating cultural immersion, highlighting the unforgettable experiences and delicious food.
Japan SIG plans to continue organizing such events at Cambridge Judge Business School, enhancing cross-cultural understanding.
