The Sainsbury Management Fellows Scholarship, initiated by Lord Sainsbury of Turville in 1987, has recently included Oxford University’s Saïd Business School among its approved educational institutions. This expansion is designed to promote business leadership skills among UK engineers and scientists. For this academic year, the program is offering eight scholarships each valued at £50,000 to UK scientists undertaking MBA studies at leading business schools. The goal of the scholarships is to support the UK’s economic growth and innovation in science.
Furthermore, the application process has been adapted to allow prospective students to apply for the scholarship prior to securing a business school placement, providing greater accessibility and support, including mentoring. Applicants must take the GMAT as part of the application process to demonstrate their commitment to pursuing an MBA.
