Embracing Community: Meet This Year’s ROMBA Fellows at Michigan Ross

The Ross School of Business has announced its 2024 ROMBA (Reaching Out MBA) Fellowship recipients: Miles Turner, Brian Vu, and Lucas Cao, all MBA candidates for the class of 2026. The ROMBA Fellowship is a national initiative that partners with business schools to support LGBTQIA2S+ business leaders of the future by providing scholarships and access to exclusive leadership programming.

Miles Turner is a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and is excited about enhancing support and advocacy within the Michigan Ross community.

Brian Vu brings his experience from the performing arts community and is eager to foster queer visibility and community within the business sector.

Lucas Cao, originally from Vietnam and a former professional in the conservative oil and gas industry, is committed to mentoring and supporting authentic self-representation in the business world.

These fellows are part of a larger effort to enhance the representation of the LGBTQIA2S+ community in business, where they have been historically underrepresented. They aim to contribute significantly to the inclusive culture at Michigan Ross and leverage the opportunities provided by the fellowship to make a positive impact on both the local and broader business communities.
