Zoe Sun (MBA 2024) from China, worked in private equity before joining Harvard Business School (HBS). Drawn by the global network and emphasis on leadership, she pursued an MBA to explore new perspectives and opportunities.
At HBS, courses like Global Climate Change and Entrepreneurship and Global Capitalism inspired her to launch VitaRi Energy, a startup extending green energy access in West Africa. HBS fellowships like GoAfrica and the Rock Center for Entrepreneurship provided essential seed capital and support.
Zoe’s classroom experiences, alongside peers from over 30 countries, enriched her understanding of global business. Memorable moments included Flag Day, celebrating diverse cultures, and leading campus tours as Co-Chief Admissions Ambassador. As Social Chair for the Greater China Club, she also organized cultural events, balancing her roots with HBS’s diverse community.
