Jordan Greer ’25, a second-year student at Yale School of Management (SOM), served as an orientation leader (OL) to welcome new students to SOM’s residential master’s programs. The OLs focused on fostering belonging, promoting a growth mindset, and building community during orientation week.
Events like game nights, ice cream outings, and a closing ceremony at Gryphon’s Pub helped new students integrate into the SOM community. Team-building activities, such as navigating a ping-pong ball across tracks, encouraged collaboration and adaptability, reinforcing a growth mindset. Students also participated in theater workshops to enhance their skills through feedback.

These efforts laid the groundwork for a supportive, inclusive, and transformative SOM experience.
