Hannah Adams, a rising second-year MBA student at Yale SOM, is interning at Reimagination Lab in New York City. Reimagination Lab uses emerging technology to develop digital tools that help nonprofits enhance their impact. This summer, Hannah is working as a product manager on a project that uses AI to analyze data related to abortion seekers, especially in states where access is restricted. Her role involves refining financial models, creating investor pitch decks, and collaborating with the product development team on user experience design.
Hannah chose this internship to gain experience in a for-profit model focused on social impact and to work closely with a small team. She applies lessons from her Yale SOM courses, including financial modeling and pitch deck creation, to her work at Reimagination Lab. This experience is helping her explore a career in impact investment, a field she’s long been interested in. The internship has provided valuable insights into the development and pitching of products in the social impact space, positioning her well for her future career.
