Deciding to pursue an MBA, I faced uncertainties about how it would align with my values, which cherish time in nature, faith, and music. I diligently researched MBA programs, evaluating them based on alignment with my values, cost, curriculum, student life, and more, using detailed metrics to narrow down over twenty options to six.
The decision crystallized after attending Duke Fuqua’s Blue Devil Weekend, which assured me of its cultural and financial fit. Engaging with students and faculty demonstrated Fuqua’s welcoming community, affirming it was a place I could thrive and bring my whole self.
My advice for prospective students: Embrace challenges, stay true to your values, and prioritize what matters most in choosing a program. This thorough approach confirmed Fuqua as the right fit for my MBA journey, integrating my personal joys and professional aspirations.
