The Executive MBA cohort’s trip to New York City was a comprehensive blend of networking, industry insights, and experiential learning. Highlights of the trip were a family-style dinner at Carmine’s, sessions with industry leaders like Miki Edelman from Macquarie Capital and Laura Correnti from Giant Spoon, and an in-depth look into Morgan Stanley’s operations. The experience also featured a rooftop networking event, Broadway executive seminars led by Professor McDermott, discussions on corporate power dynamics with Professor Luis Martins, and concluded with a tour of The Met. This immersive week was designed to mold the cohort into future corporate leaders, emphasizing leadership development, branding, decision-making, and strategic thinking.
