HEC Paris and the HEC Foundation have joined forces with the Laidlaw Foundation to offer full-tuition scholarships to exceptional women for their full-time MBA program. This €1.9 million initiative over three years aims to empower women for whom MBA studies would typically be out of reach.
Expanding Opportunities for Women in Business
Following in the footsteps of Oxford Saïd Business School’s success in achieving gender parity, HEC Paris aims to create similar opportunities. The program is part of a broader effort to increase female representation in MBA classes, which has fluctuated between 31% and 42% at HEC Paris in recent years.
Fostering Diversity and Inclusion
The partnership seeks to bring diverse socio-economic backgrounds into the MBA program, enriching the educational experience. It includes mentorship, career support, and development workshops, providing a holistic approach to support scholars beyond financial aid.
HEC Paris’s Commitment to Gender Equality
HEC Paris demonstrates its dedication to gender equality through various initiatives, including the Women in Leadership Club and the HEC Paris Excellence scholarship. The program’s success will be measured by the impact of its scholars in business and society.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward inclusivity and diversity in business education, equipping women with the skills and knowledge for leadership roles.
