London Business School recently welcomed its MBA2025 class, consisting of 487 students from over 60 different nationalities. The MBA program commenced with an Orientation Week, featuring a variety of activities both on and off campus. The week began with Orientation Day, where the Dean, Vice Dean, Programme Director, and Alumni extended a warm welcome.
Orientation Week allowed students to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, offering a unique and eye-opening experience. Highlights of the week included an exciting Away Day, which featured rock climbing, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the students.
Several incoming students shared their thoughts on Orientation Week:
- Sonal Pai (USA) found the week to be an incredible experience, offering the chance to interact with people from various nationalities and gain fresh perspectives.
- Anushree Mathur (Switzerland) considered the week a perfect start to their MBA journey, appreciating the diverse and talented class and the supportive and community-focused LBS culture.
- Adelaide Young (British/American) found Orientation Week useful in easing the transition into the program, providing valuable information, and facilitating friendships. She also noted the event’s fun atmosphere.
- Ankit Sureka (India) emphasized the importance of the Orientation Week in making the transition to a new country and life feel seamless, thanks to well-structured introductory sessions, networking opportunities, team-building activities, and a concluding barbecue.
