Ivey Business School has marked a significant milestone as it welcomed its largest-ever Master of Management (MM) in Analytics cohort, consisting of 52 students from 22 different universities. The students gathered for an orientation event to kickstart their first residence week of the program.
Greg Zaric, Faculty Director of the MM in Analytics, highlighted the diversity of the cohort, with over 40% of students being women and representing various birth countries, undergraduate institutions, and industries. The program aims to prepare these students for the future of business by combining professional analytical experience with essential business and management skills.
Lyn Purdy, Ivey’s Associate Dean of Programs, emphasized how the MM in Analytics program is designed to accelerate career growth and leadership potential, positioning students to navigate the evolving business landscape effectively. She also noted the significance of this momentous occasion for Ivey, coinciding with the school’s 100th anniversary.
Throughout the week, students will engage in classes and team-building activities, blending online learning with in-person sessions at Ivey’s downtown Toronto campus, offering a unique learning experience for the future leaders of business.
